The 14th China Automotive Forum (CAF), hosted by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), was held from 11th to 13th July, 2024 in Jiading, Shanghai. With the theme of “Leading New Changes, Winning New Future”, the Forum set up a number of meetings and supporting activities such as the “Closed Door Summit, General Assembly Forum, more than 10 thematic forums, 9 major releases, and thematic tours”, aiming to unite the strength of all parties, form a consensus on development, and guide the future direction. The aim is to gather the strength of all parties, form a development consensus, guide the future direction, and promote the sustainable and high-quality development of the automotive industry. The “Closed Door Summit” held in the afternoon of 11 July is a “face-to-face” communication platform for government and enterprises created by China Automotive Forum, gathering leaders of more than 10 government departments in charge of the automotive industry, leaders of mainstream automotive groups, head of new forces, technology giants, leaders of supply chain companies, and leaders of the automotive industry. It brings together leaders of more than 10 government departments in charge of the automotive industry, leaders of mainstream automotive groups, leading new power enterprises, technology giants, supply chain head enterprises, and senior executives of top industry organisations, to communicate common issues and preach policy guidance, which is unique in the industry.
