GAC, Lixin Precision Co-operation New Progress: Joint Venture Company Officially Completed And Put Into Production.

        A few days ago, Guangzhou Automobile Group announced that its joint venture with Lucent Precision has been formally completed and put into production.

       LISE Technology was established in June 2023 as a joint venture between GAC and Lucent Precision, and the company is mainly dedicated to the localisation of the research, development and production of core automotive domain control components. Among them, Lucent Precision holds 45%, while Guangzhou Automobile, through two companies, Guangzhou Automobile Group and Guangzhou Automobile Parts and Components, also has a 45% shareholding.

       In September 2023, Lixin Technology officially started the construction of an intelligent driving control system R&D and production project in Nansha, Guangzhou, aiming at the R&D and production of intelligent Internet core products such as driving monitoring system, intelligent cockpit domain controller, and automatic driving domain controller. The project covers a total area of about 100 acres, with a total investment of about 3 billion yuan, is expected to achieve mass production in 2024, and is expected to achieve an output value of about 10 billion yuan after reaching production.

      After nearly 10 months, in early July, the second batch of buildings of the R&D and production project of LISE intelligent driving control system successfully passed the joint acceptance of completion, marking the full completion of the intelligent driving project.

It is understood that at present, LISE Technology has already possessed the software and hardware research and development capability of the core components of intelligent network connection, and the ability of large-scale production and delivery, and has achieved the mass production and delivery of many products such as the intelligent cockpit domain control, central domain control, car networking terminal, high-voltage wiring harness, and so on.

      In recent years, along with the rapid development of intelligent electric vehicles, Luxun Precision has also continued to expand its layout in the field of automotive electronics, not only has it reached in-depth cooperation with Guangzhou Automobile, Chery, Suteng Polytron and other industrial chain upstream and downstream enterprises, but also formed a complete product line covering automotive wiring harnesses, connectors, new energy, intelligent Internet connection, intelligent cockpit and control, and so on.

     In 2023, the revenue of auto related business of Lucent Precision was 9.252 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 50.46%, which has become a new growth point for Lucent Precision.
